Enoshima, about an hour train ride South-West of Tokyo, is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and for good reason. There are numerous things to see and do, including the Enoshima Caves, the lighthouse and surrounding gardens, the rocky eastern coast, among others. When venturing outside of Tokyo, one of the things I enjoy most is taking walking or hiking routes. As Tokyo is so heavily urbanised, it is not easy to get a dose of nature along with a nice view, so I always make sure when visiting an area such as Enoshima that I get in a couple of solid walks. After visiting the main Enoshima Shrine, you can take this particular walking route to make your way towards the Okutsumiya Shrine.
