<\/a><\/p>\n Dahami Restaurant is a small place located in a back street away from busy Kitakaido Street. There they\u00a0serve authentic ethnic cuisines from India and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The food pricing is very reasonable, especially the lunch sets and bento so popular with nearby office workers.\u00a0Even a full lunch is reasonable.<\/p>\n Lunch or dinner, my advice is to visit it at least in pairs. Better yet, go in a group of four to be able to share and taste a great variety of dishes!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n For all its simplicity the restaurant and its chef are being recognized by the local media.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Left: Second Chef, Mr. Herath Mudiyangelage Wasantha Kumara herath, \u201cWasantha Herath\u201d for short.<\/p>\n Right: First Chef, Mr. Mahanamage Rukman Bandara Weerasingha, \u201cRukman Bandara\u201d for short.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Traditional Sri Lankan fish and potato balls called \u201ccutlets.\u201d<\/p>\n It was my first visit with a good Sri Lankan friend, Mr. Lalith Prelis. There being three of us, we were able to share quite a few scrumptious dishes!<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The inside of the \u201ccutlet\u201d<\/p>\n <\/a>We ordered three types of curry\u00a0sauce<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a>Indian Chicken Curry<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Sri lankan Black Chicken Curry!<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Sri Lankan Potato and Fish Curry<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Standard naan<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Cheese naan<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Turmeric rice<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Fiery Sri Lankan pickles<\/p>\n We also had some salad.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n … and ginger tea to wash it all down<\/p>\n
