The beauty and elegance of the cherry blossoms (Sakura \u3055\u304f\u3089\u2022\u685c\uff09 in Japan are well known across the globe<\/strong>, drawing crowds of tourists and locals alike every year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most people will view the soft pink and white petals in the well-known spots such as Ueno park or Meguro.<\/strong> And, while pictures online promise gorgeous, peaceful scenes bursting with trees full of cherry blossom tufts, the reality is often not quite so serene. Crowds bustle<\/strong> to take photos among seas of picnic mats and drunk salary workers enjoying their version of a hanami<\/a><\/em> (Cherry blossom viewing party \u306f\u306a\u307f\u2022\u82b1\u898b). If that\u2019s not for you, then take my advice and visit the cherry blossoms in nearby Saitama instead. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
