built the inn in 1930, <strong>Yamada Bessou features warm woods, splashes of color along its winding passageways, and an overall cozy, retro feel<\/strong>. Guests are first welcomed to the inn with tea and Japanese sweets and are then invited to select a <em>yukata<\/em> (cotton kimono) from a chest before being shown to their room. Sample local foods and pick up <em>omiyage<\/em> along the Yunotsubo Kaido shopping street, which connects Lake Kinrin with Yufu station, and then head for afternoon coffee and sweets at the complex housing the stylish <a class=\"ek-link ek-link ek-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sansou-murata.com\/e\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Sansou Murata<\/a> inn.
