Spring is an extraordinary time in Japan when nature becomes vivid with color and intensity. <strong>The most famous flowers that blossom during this period of the year are <em>ume<\/em><\/strong> (plum blossom &#8211; \u6885), <em><strong>sakura <\/strong><\/em>(cherry blossom &#8211; \u3055\u304f\u3089\/ \u685c) and<strong> <em>momo<\/em> <\/strong>(peach blossom &#8211; \u6843\u82b1).
