It is a 10 minutes walk from Cenova Department Store, and had often been recommended to me by friends. I took advantage of the free time at lunch the other day to pay them a belated visit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-870 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-2-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"Napalese,Indian,restaurant,namaste\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Service:<\/strong> Very friendly, polite and smiling<br \/>\n<strong>Facilities &amp; Equipment:<\/strong> Very clean overall. Spacious washroom<br \/>\n<strong>Prices:<\/strong> Reasonable<br \/>\n<strong>Strong points:<\/strong> A great blend of Indian and Nepalese cuisines. More than sufficient drinks list. Vegetarian set or single dishes available. Very generous portions!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-871 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-3-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"Nepalese,Indian,painting\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe owner and the staff all hail from Nepal but the chefs graduated from a cooking school in India, allowing them to combine the two cuisines with even a little Japanese twist at times.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-872 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-4-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"menu,Nepalese,Indian\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>Lunch time is particularly busy and they do have a hefty menu<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">One can choose from set menus or single dishes. I already know I\u2019ll have to plan a few more visits! A good idea, since they serve a great variety of drinks including Shizuoka sake, would have to go there for a drink in the evening and eat their food as snacks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-873 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-5-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"vegetarian,menu\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>I chose the vegetarian set lunch which should give me a good idea of the chefs\u2019 skills. It includes a lot!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-8.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-877 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-8-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"Nepal,beer,drink\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>But first of all I had to taste a \u201cNepal Ice\u201d beer<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-874 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-6-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"samosa,salad,meal\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>Enormous potato samosa coming fresh and hot on your plate with vegetable salad<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-13.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-882 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-13-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"papado\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>It would be enough as a great snack with a nice beer in the evenings<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-876 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-7-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"Nepalese,Indian,curry,naan,vegetarian\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>The Vegetarian Lunch Plate, which includes the aforementioned samosa and a drink<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-9.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-878 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-9-650x488-1.jpg\" alt=\"curry,spinach,cottage cheese\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">You can choose 2 out of 3 curries, I opted for the above \u201cParapanilu\u201d spinach and cottage cheese curry<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a \u201cAlparaku\u201d Potato and Cottage Cheese<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.voyapon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/namaste-11.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\"
