I spent my childhood in the English countryside, moved to London to study art history at the Victoria & Albert Museum and then went to SOAS to do my Masters in Japanese Studies. As a result, I have an addiction to vintage kimono, Japanese green tea and wagashi. I am now a Japanologist, freelance writer and tea ceremony practitioner. I write to share my passion for traditional Japanese culture, tea and seasonal living. Meanwhile, I'm planning my return to the countryside where I can build a tea house.
