Daigaku Dori

Daigaku Dori (University Avenue) is the main boulevard of Kunitachi, a residential city in western Tokyo. Stretching straight south from JR Kunitachi Station, the wide, tree-lined street was designed as the city’s central axis and reflects Kunitachi’s origins as a planned university town connected to Hitotsubashi University. Lined with cherry trees, ginkgoes, cafés, and small shops, Daigaku Dori is especially beloved in spring for its sakura blossoms and serves year-round as a pleasant space for strolling, cycling, and community events.
