Mark Brazil Ph.D

Mark Brazil, a British naturalist and writer resident in east Hokkaidō, is the author of more than ten books, including Birds of Japan (Helm Field Guides) and the Nature of Japan (published by Japan Nature Guides). His most recent books are: Wild Hokkaidō (Published by Hokkaidō Shimbun Press in June 2021), and Japan: The Natural History of an Asian Archipelago (Published by Princeton University Press in January 2022).
