The first time I stepped into a martial arts hall, I surely didn’t know that this would lead me to study Japanology and Buddhist Studies. In 2015, I moved from my hometown in Germany to Kyoto to deepen my studies of Buddhism and share my love for Japan with others. Currently, I live in Sendai, where I continue to follow my passion for traditional Japanese culture.
