Near Tokyo

Although Tokyo is an urban behemoth, its surrounding prefectures are also ideal for sightseeing and exploring. Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures are all within an hour or two from central Tokyo by train or car and give visitors another, more local side to this wonderful country.
