Burcu Basar

I am Burcu, originally from Istanbul, Turkey, and living in Tokyo since 2019. I work full time at a research institute in Tokyo and also hold a visiting lecturer position. When I am not working, I can often be found in national parks across Japan, usually taking far too many photos. The two things I love most about Japan are its nature and its intriguingly dark literature.
