A giant amusement park waits to delight visitors to the Sasebo area of Nagasaki on Kyushu island. Did someone build yet another branch of the famous Disneyland? No, this is something totally different — the Huis Ten Bosch amusement park.

Upon entering Huis Ten Bosch, visitors will discover the unique atmosphere around this Netherlands-themed amusement park. Huis Ten Bosch offers abundant options for its guests, including a beautiful seasonal garden that features a windmill, cafe, shopping area, harbor, and much more. It is a great option for individuals, couples, and families.

Helpful staff are available for visitors who need assistance buying tickets, and there are also self-service machines for the more confident. A giant teddy bear greets visitors after the entrance gate, leading many people to squeal in delight and stop to take photos.

Huis Ten Bosch has many rides that are popular among both children and adults. It also has seasonal events and exhibitions, including a display of tulips and spectacular night illumination during the spring.

The entrance fee, which starts at 4,500 yen for adults, depends on whether visitors arrive during the day or evening. There are discounts for students if they show their student ID card. The part is open from 9:00 to 22:00.

Access to Huis Ten Bosch is fairly simple. From Nagasaki Airport, a high-speed ferry or bus will get you to the park in 50 minutes for 1,960 yen one way. Alternatively, visitors can depart from Nagasaki station on the JR  Rapid Seaside Liner train and arrive in an hour and 22 minutes for 1,470 yen one way.
