Kagawa Prefecture is the smallest prefecture of Japan and is well known for its udon noodles, which are named after the prefecture’s old name Sanuki. Naoshima, Teshima Island, Takamatsu, Shodoshima, Marugame Castle, and Kompirasan, Shikoku’s most popular shrine, are some of Kagawa’s attractions.
